I’ve been longing to participate in the Six-On-Saturday blog-fest again (see The Propagator) but in the mega-drought we are experiencing here in the western U.S., the garden is a shadow of its usual glory. So, I’m going to jump in with some sturdy succulents for now! And, to perk up the post, I made some simple pictograph numbers. 🙂

Happy Gardening everyone!

Very rewarding plants that require little care and also bloom beautifully at regular intervals.
Indeed! I’m wondering why I don’t grow more of them! Well, I think it’s because some of these succulents aren’t hardy at the low temps we get in winter.
Beautiful pics dear!

Thx so much Reni! 🥰
Wow I love your pictographs, did you draw them yourself? Really original. The succulents are great too – I am missing purple ones and must rectify that at some point!
Hi Sel! Yes, I drew the pictographs in the app Procreate. So fun. 🎨👩🎨
The pictograph numbers are beautiful, nature and numbers combined. Amelia
Thanks Amelia! I’m still reading your recent blog—so fascinating about the ground-dwelling bees you have there! Reading your blog regularly has been very educational as well as fun!
